Founder and President
Sunny’s spirit encompasses a business mind, creative soul and giving heart. She started her first business in 2001 by mixing her own interior house paints to create one-of-a-kind textures and colors for decorative finishes. She has written and published two books on the art of decorative painting, “Paint Can!” and “Paint Can! Children’s Rooms”.
After having 3 kids, she decided to shift from paint cans and interior walls to oil paint tubes and canvases. Her serene paintings of trees and nature scenes can be found in private and corporate collections across the country, as well as print features such as Southern Living, Traditional Home and Coastal Living to name a few.
In 2019, Sunny printed her original “Love Layer” painting on textiles, and the Love Swaddle® was born. While holding the first sample in her hands, she had a vision to swaddle every newborn in LOVE and promote relationship health awareness at birth.
Sunny received her BA in Art History and Studio Art from Hollins University in 1990.
She received her certificate in the physiological and psychological effects of color from the IACC-NA in California from 2006-2011.
