We support the One Love Foundation to educate young people about healthy and unhealthy relationships, empowering them to identify and avoid abuse and learn how to LOVE better.

LOVEVOLVE raises awareness for the One Love Foundation, through the Love Swaddle® Program.

LOVEVOLVE’s mission is to HONOR THE SHIFT™

When we become parents, all of our relationships change. Our relationship with ourselves, our relationship with our spouse or partner, our relationships with our other children each time we bring a child into the family, and our relationship with our parents, siblings, and friends all shift. We learn about new responsibilities, we experience new joys and new stresses, which cause us to shift our perspective on the life we now live.

LOVEVOLVE creates visual cues to remind us and connect us to educational support to HONOR THE SHIFT in all of our relationships and set them up with a strong foundation for success.

A personal note from our creator:

My life path has lead me down roads filled with both wonderful light and deep darkness. I am very grateful to have been married for 24 years and have three wonderful children, who are the light in my life. My divorce is by far the saddest, and hardest thing I have experienced. Family and relationships is what life is all about to me. During this period of healing, I had been wanting my artwork to find a meaning, a purpose, to make lives better. In some way. I wanted it to do more, to be attached to an action for the greater good. In a four day period in 2019, Yeardley Love’s story kept presenting itself in my life. I became aware of The One Love Foundation. Immediately I knew this was aligned, and a higher purpose for the love artwork. I believe healthy relationship awareness and education will change the foundation of our future in many amazing ways. I will always believe you find profound wisdom in the well if you choose to. The wisdom for me was finding the calm to pay attention to and be present for the path. This path has lead me to promote relationship health to help young families honor and acknowledge a shift in all of our relationships when we become parents. I believe if I had this information and knowledge early on, maybe it would have saved my marriage. xo/sunny

ABOUT ONE LOVE FOUNDATION

Rooted in Virginia and Maryland, The One Love Foundation aims to end relationship abuse by empowering young people with the tools and resources to know the difference between a healthy and unhealthy relationship, and bring life-saving prevention education to their communities. LOVEVOLVE also being rooted in Virginia, encountered a couple of serendipitous conversations with the Love family, and concluded that spreading relationship health awareness to the roots of society, newborn babies, has the potential to make major change. With their resources and our LOVE Swaddle®, LOVEVOLVE has a vision of building a healthier and more loved society, and honoring the shift that one's relationship has when a child is brought into the picture.

The email below introduced me to the One Love Foundation.

This was the give back I had been looking for. It was 100% aligned with my personal mission for relationship health. It was a complete full circle “Aha” moment for the art and for everything I had been thinking about and wanting for the artwork. I personally was on a mission and wanted more of a purpose driven life for the greater good. I remember feeling so complete on this day. Feeling like the universe woke me up through the deepest darkest days of the divorce and said you needed to be there to be here.

I am awake and am paying attention and everything is connecting.

Hi Mrs Goode,

How are you doing? My name is Cole Reifsnider; I am Robin Reifsnider's daughter and I know Whit and Presley! We have definitely met before but, just wanted to give a little clarification :)  I am one of the two cochairs for the One Love Foundation's Young Professional Network here in the DC area, along with Caroline Seats, who I have CCed on this email. We both graduated from UVA and live in the DC metro area.

The One Love Foundation was started in 2010 after Yeardley Love was killed by her boyfriend just 3 weeks before graduation. One Love's goal is to eradicate relationship violence and abuse through education on the warning signs of unhealthy relationships. Our goal as the DC YPN is to spread One Love's message and fundraise for the foundation.

I am reaching out to you because we have an event on July 27th, which is the biggest fundraising for the One Love Foundation in the area. We hope people will come together to network, raise money and have fun in Yeardley's honor. Our goal is to raise as much money for the Foundation as possible and top our yearly goal of $10,000.

We are having a raffle and silent auction at the event in the hopes to bring in more money. I am reaching out to you to ask if you would consider making a donation of one of your beautiful paintings to our silent auction.  All of the money from both the raffle and silent auction will go to the One Love Foundation. You could donate a painting that you have not sold yet or, if you have other ideas we are, of course, open to those as well. If you do think it is something you would be able to donate, we can also send you over an InKind Donation form for tax purposes.

Please let me know if you have any questions about the foundation or about our Young Professionals Network. You can also find more details on the One Love Foundation at www.joinonelove.org

Thank you so much! I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Cole Reifsnider

Cole had no idea I had been creating LOVE/LOVEVOLVE paintings for the last year. She also had no idea I had been wanting to give back with my art.
